BioBizz Alg-A-Mic is an all organic additive, stimulant, and vitality booster for plants that utilises the many benefits of cold-pressed seaweed concentrate. The high-quality seaweed formula contains a healthy mix of micronutrients (including magnesium and calcium), vitamins, amino acids, and beneficial hormones derived from vegetables. 

Alg-A-Mic can be used during all stages of growth as an organic stress reliever and to boost the absorption of chlorophyll. It works great at reducing the impact on your plants from common stress factors such as overfeeding, nutrient deficiencies, pests and diseases, and fluctuations in temperature and humidity. 

Reducing the stress on your plants frees up more energy for increased growth and yields, whereas an increase in chlorophyll absorption encourages healthy, green, and luscious foliage.  BioBizz Alg-A-Mic can be used as both a soil drench and as a foliar spray. Using it as a foliar spray will really help to boost chlorophyll absorption.

The diverse mixture of natural plant nutrition in Alg-A-Mic has made it an established additive in the organic gardening community.  Although BioBizz state that it can be used with all growing substrates, we only recommend using it as a foliar spray if you are growing in anything but soil.

How do I use BioBizz Alg-A-Mic?

If using as a soil drench we recommend adding 2-5ml per litre of water. If using a foliar spray we recommend using around 1-3ml per litre of water. Alg-A-Mic contains extremely low levels of NPK (nitrogen, phosphorous, potassium) so it is virtually impossible to over-feed your plants when using it. However, using too much is just waste of money.

We would advise applying Alg-A-Mic twice a week as a foliar spray or with every other watering as a soil drench will be plenty. When using as a foliar spray, make sure you keep the spray well away from any grow lamps. Spraying when the lights are off is best.

Why isn’t it suitable for all substrates?

Alg-A-Mic can be used in all growing environments as a foliar spray, no matter what the substrate. However, as it is an organic product, it is most effective in soil as soil contains the bacteria needed to break down the organic compounds into plant usable nutrition. It can be used with other substrates, but we wouldn’t recommend it as there are other products out there specifically tailored for these other substrates that will perform better.

What’s in it and how is it made?

Alg-A-Mic is made of 100% organic seaweed concentrate, which is concentrated using cold-pressing techniques instead of chemical solvents. It is rich in trace elements, vitamins, amino acids and micro-nutrients – a reason why seaweed has been used for centuries by farmers and gardeners.

Is this a nutrient product?

No, it is an additive and vitality booster that is designed to be used alongside other nutrient products. Alg-A-Mic contains only a tiny amount of NPK so it can be safely used alongside other nutrient products.
